Last to sleep.

After I’d posted the previous entry, I sat around the living room and asked Edmund for some website design advice. Li Ying and him gave me pointers to better design a website. 🙂 Thank you both! 🙂

Then after a while, I was the only one awake left in the whole house. And I realised that it was the first time I was the last to sleep over here in Chengdu. It also reminded me of home, coz I would almost everyday be the last to sleep. Hm… Haven’t really missed being at home until today. >.< Oh well. Camp Tetra starts today! How time flies! I remember the last camp where I went for the last 2 days (because I had school), ran around, shouted at lots of people and for the first time, felt involved as an alumni. I remember that night when all of us alumni slept in the music room (girls, guys and teachers), how that day was the first World Cup match and we attempted to watch World Cup how it was so cold I couldn’t really sleep, how I was up almost the whole night, listening to snores, how in the morning, I woke up and saw Yan Xiong sitting by the window, how I stood by the window with the other alumni watching the Tetrians do PT, how I made friends with Hui Min, how Reuben was there running around and all (his Canada school holiday), how we girls boiled herbal tea for everyone…

Yesterday, I realised that even though I’m kind of complaining in a way about the things happening here, come August 13, I’ll miss a lot of things.

I’ll miss living with 12 other people.
I’ll miss being annoyed at others.
I’ll miss the late nights chatting with the others.
I’ll miss living without my family.
I’ll miss joking with my friends.
I’ll miss making my own decisions.
I’ll miss spending time with Huzz.

However,
I won’t miss emptying the rubbish bins.
I won’t miss emptying the used water from under the sink.
I won’t miss slipping on the toilet floor.
I won’t miss the dusty floor (even though I sweep it almost every day).
I won’t miss the mosquitoes (killed 2 today).

Or maybe, those that I won’t miss, will be remembered fondly in my heart. Experiences! 😀
