Zzz.. I’m pretty tired now, but will still write about what happened yesterday and today.
Yesterday, went to school early coz the IC said we have a Compulsory trial run at that day. I was quite stressed by the trial run, but decided to change my attitude towards it and said that ok, I’ll go. And guess what?
I went there for NOTHING.
The trial run was CANCELLED.
How nice eh? But at least I get to
escape and go for band! Woohoo! Well, on the way, someone called me (I know it’s Perseus or Dan, but both denied calling me -_-“) and I thought it was my classmate. Weird sia.
Then got caught in the rain with LY, Dick and Mr Lee. Haha. Long story, but the summary was that even though I had an umbrella, I was wet.
Ate at HGPT with LY, Dick and Mr Lee. Rushed off after that to Adeline‘s house. Chanted with about 19 people for Shirley. Then had a short meet/discussion about NYPSD’s orientation. I was put into the logistics/refreshment team. I’m the only one in the team who attended the meet.
Today, went for band. Practice was quite okay. I always enjoy playing Overture Jubiloso. Lol. Dunno why. Especially the near ending part, where there are accents all over the place. Hahahaha. I also enjoy the running notes a lot, coz I always amaze myself when I can automatically play the running notes.
Well, for some weird reason, the mallet sticks keep rolling off the xylo and all. Mr Lim was quite annoyed. So was I. Guess it’s coz we readjusted the height of the xylo?
Us alumni were quite bored, so we suggested to Mr Lee to play a prank on the band. haha. Our idea was funny eh? So many people believed it and were quite shocked. haha. I was like trying hard not to laugh and pretended to do my stuff. LOL! Mr Lee added on the Bukit Timah Hill thing.
Then we remembered that friday was sports day. Argh. wasted. We should have asked Mr Lee to say, “I just received a news that you will be performing in the field on Sports Day and you only have Monday to practice.” or something to the like. Haha. Well, at least we made the band shocked and forget all about Sports Day. LOL.
Then went to SWE prac with Dick and Glenn. Was quite fed up on the way there because of someone. Don’t wish to say; long story. What I want to comment about it is that, if you want to lie to me, please just tell me the truth instead.
SWE prac was quite fun. haha. Mr and Mrs Chua, who were the first conductors for the band, came! Wow! It was my first time meeting them, so was quite scared at first, didn’t dare play anything. Haha. It was cool meeting them. 🙂 Excellent conductors. Mrs Chua conducts Hai Sing Catholic School, NASS, Anglican High, Dunearn High and Mus’art.
Then went to Jurong Point to eat Mos Burger, and came home. Chatted with Glenn about music theory. I’m going to take lessons! Haha.
